Write to [email protected] about billing, a bug, a refund or a feature you want. It reaches a person.

- Say what you tapped and what you expected to happen. A screenshot helps.
- Include your phone model and the app version. The version is in Settings → About.
- If the app logged an error, open Settings → About → Diagnostics, tap Copy log and paste it into your email.
Your subscription
How do I cancel?
Subscribed in the Android app: open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose My Bowling Journey and cancel. Subscribed in the iPhone app: on your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose My Bowling Journey and cancel. Subscribed on the web: open the app, tap Pro at the top, then Manage subscription, or use the link in your receipt email. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
I got a new phone. How do I get Pro back?
Pro belongs to your My Bowling Journey account, not to the phone. Sign in with the same account you subscribed with and Pro comes with it. If it doesn't show within a few minutes, email us.
What happens when my 30 free days end?
Nothing is charged, because no card was asked for. You move to the Free plan unless you choose Pro, and nothing you logged is deleted. One league stays active and the others are paused until you come back.
Can I get a refund?
We don't refund part-used periods as a rule, because you keep Pro until the period ends. If you were charged by mistake, or something was broken and we couldn't fix it, write to us and we will make it right. Purchases made through Google Play also follow Google Play's own refund policy. Purchases made in the iPhone app follow Apple's refund policy: request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
My nights aren't showing on my new phone.
Sign in with the same account you used before: everything you logged is stored with your account. If something still looks out of date, open Settings → Your data → Refresh from the Cloud.
How do I keep a copy of my data?
Open Settings → Your data → Backup & Restore and save the backup file. You can restore it from the same place.
Common questions
Is My Bowling Journey free?
Yes. The free plan never ends: shot-by-shot logging, the scoresheet, one league plus unlimited practice and open bowling, and all of your own stats (average, strikes, spares, leaves). Pro adds every league and team, the comparisons, the lane view, Nightcap, Insights, the Caddie and scorecard import. Every new account gets Pro free for 30 days, with no card.
Does it work on Android, iPhone and in a browser?
It is an Android app on Google Play, and the same app runs in any phone's browser, iPhone included. One account works everywhere, so a night logged on one device shows up on the others.
Does it work at the bowling center with no signal?
Yes. Once the app is open you can keep logging with no signal: every shot saves on your phone and uploads when you are back online.
Is it for ten-pin bowling only?
Yes: ten-pin, including 9-pin no-tap leagues, which are kept apart from your scratch stats. It does not score five-pin or candlepin.
Does it read my bowling center's scoring system?
No. You log each frame yourself in a few taps, which is what lets it keep the ball, the leave and your line. With Pro you can also photograph the scoreboard and import the scores.
Can my team and family use it?
One teammate can score the whole team on one phone. On league night, family and friends can follow the match frame by frame from a link in any browser, with no app. Each bowler decides whether to share.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, straight away:
- Open Settings (the gear at the top of the screen)
- Tap Account
- Open Danger Zone and tap Delete My Account
- Type your email address to confirm
No longer have the app? Email us from your account's address with Delete in the subject line and we will delete the account and its data within 30 days. The account deletion page lists exactly what is removed.
